Toys for American Pit Bull Terriers

Toys can get costly when you have a pit bull. So forget about toys made of paper because a pit bull will shed it in no time. Even the most costly toys are no match for the teeth and jaws of a pit bull.

Many people have searched many websites for toys for their dog. There are two important things that toys will provide for your dog especially when they are puppies. The first thing is that it helps to stimulate the dog both mentally as well as physically. The second being it prevents them from tearing up the house.

Pit bulls love playing with balls. The bigger, more colorful, more bouncy balls the better. Even better if the ball is deflated. For these tough playing dogs as puppies, a hard rubber ball is great for their tough playfulness.

When a pit bull plays with any type of toy, they tend to become physically competitive so keep that in mind when choosing toys.
Let your dog sporadically play with toys and mix in more subdued and passive play time activities. This way your dog can unwind and lose that aggression.
Never buy squeaky toys for a pit bull because the plastic can be shredded and swallowed and most often, the noisemaker becomes dislodged and can be swallowed whether the toy is destroyed or not.
